About Us
Regional Prime Television was started in Roscoe, Georgia (originally as Roscoe Public Television) in 2017 from an idea to have community based programming of all types and genres from various parts of our region available to anyone who wished to have access to a more community-based approach to television.
In 2018, our name was officially changed to 'Regional Prime Television' as we expanded our region to include Alabama. At that point we began producing a more wide range of broadcast television, such as comedies, dramas, documentaries, news, talk shows, and various type of regional events. From 2018 to 2020 we extensively covered the East Alabama and West Georgia regions (approximately ten counties) bringing community-based regional content to people that they wouldn't traditionally find on other media outlets.
In November 2020, listening to our viewers and realizing the limitation of many mainstream outlets throughout America, our overall focus expanded to encompass a wider audience by consolidating our existing efforts and building upon the platform we had already been operating. Since all mainstream news outlets lean distinctly to the right (Republican), or to the left (Democrat), we decided that the need for a platform existed for the large population of people leaning more toward the idea of personal freedom and liberties, thereby, our channel began to include content more aligned to our own beliefs and principles; that being from a Libertarian perspective.
We are not making any radical changes to our platform however; we are now, and will always be, a small town, community based, broadcast media outlet with the primary goal of bringing news and entertainment content to our audience that is not readily available elsewhere. We take great pride in our unique business model and appreciate each and every one of you throughout our regional (and the world) that continue to enjoy our content. It continues to be all of your encouraging feed-back that inspires us to carry on doing what we do.
We are supported exclusively by our contributors, thereby our programming is completely free to all viewers. It is our belief that we are only limited by our imagination, and the imagination of our loyal viewers, therefore feed-back and contributions from our audience is always welcomed. Please feel free to contact us at any time!
